I didn't wish to take the time to build a house as a Sulani rental, so I scoured the Gallery to find one I liked. I have replayed this part of my current game three times now. Things were a bit off yesterday, so I determined first thing today I would do a game repair. Well, that made it worse. :open_mouth: To be fair, weird stuff began before my family went on vacation to the Islands. But, again, the dad was unable (or unwilling) to teach his daughter how to ride a bike. This latest house has three on hand in the front yard, besides both girls having their own bikes in their inventories. I thought being on a vacation, which frees Dad up from work obligations would be a fantastic time to get the girls riding their bikes. Plus, with the bikes on hand the younger brother could learn, too. But Dad is either unable or unwilling. When I placed this house, the pop up said it was built using MOO. I disregard this warning, as I never use it myself, and I've had that popup when placing some of my own lots from My Library. In fact, this one was the final one of about five I was checking out. I always place the lots I like so that I can get a better look at the layout. I'm sitting here wondering, now, if MOO was used and that was interfering. I rolled back a save or two hoping to keep my Sims from being corrupted. I don't know. It's totally frustrating. At an event prior to the family heading out to Sulani, the baby was found on the floor in front of her crib, where moments before she had been in it. Who would be so mean as to remove her from the safety of her bed by placing her on the floor and then just callously walk away? Odd. Very, very odd. Any and all comments are welcomed. It's been my experience that if a lot has MOO and you don’t use the cheat, it may take a few things away, specifically columns. But I've also had moments where nothing was removed. I guess it just depends? I don't know. As for teaching to ride a bike, one of my sims could teach her son without issue. It just takes forever. In another household, my sim would just cancel the action and walk away. His son would just put the bike in his inventory and go do something else. This was two completely different saves but from the same base save.

It doesn't matter anymore if you use the cheat or not, the game now by default activates it when placing lots that used the MOO cheat. It's possible the routing is bad and stuff was placed in such a way as to hinder movement on the lot. Also, you could try reset both the bikes and the sim, maybe one of them is stuck.

Alt, is only when I try to bring in the § when typing. Never when I build. Also, I didn't build this one. I may have to, if I ever want my family to return to Sulani.

It doesn't matter anymore if you use the cheat or not, the game now by default activates it when placing lots that used the MOO cheat. It's possible the routing is bad and stuff was placed in such a way as to hinder movement on the lot. Also, you could try reset both the bikes and the sim, maybe one of them is stuck.

If you use ALT when placing a item it will say you used MOO when placing the lot. I'm not sure but I think it will also say you used MOO if you use F5 when placing a item because sometimes I don't recall using ALT but I get that message when I place one of my lots. I don't use MOO on my builds very often and if I do only on landscaping a small area under a tree.

That's what's happening. The interaction gets cancelled. He did teach his firstborn how to ride a bike. I'm just wondering why not the others?

Huh, what? I'm in the dark here. I don't use any of the F keys, ever. Alt, is only when I try to bring in the § when typing. Never when I build. Also, I didn't build this one. I may have to, if I ever want my family to return to Sulani.

Oh, wow. The lot came with three bikes under an awning, and I know three of my Sims' kids have bikes in their Inventories. I will remove the bikes that came with the lot. That may well be it. Makes me think of the confusion with MWS and how two wedding arches on the same lot confuses things. I also learned very recently that if you have two bowls chilling juice, it also confuses Sims when Called for a toast.

My one sim that was able to learn, rode through bushes with ease. The other sim that kept canceling the action had plenty of space to ride. I think it just may be bugged.

I believe all the houses get that notice when placed, even if MOO wasn't used. I built a house without using any MOO or using the alt key and when I placed it on another lot I got the notice that MOO was used.
