If The Sims is only going to be a mobile game in the future then I am gone

I also don't play mobile games and won't, they have always been way to simple for me to enjoy. My brain doesn't like them.

I know seeing the franchise end/go to a place you don't enjoy isn't fun for long time fans. In fact it can be extremely frustrating and sad, but we will always have our older games that we do love. Maybe some people here can take some hope from that.
I know that was what let me accept the direction of many other game franchises I've played and seen shift in a direction I didn't appreciate.
