  • Though they never release EPs within one week I have to say after checking out SimGuruGeorge's tweets, that candy really did look like Haloween candy. Maybe it was not a teaser for the pack idk. But it is weird he's tweeting so much orange, black candy

Orange and black are Traditionally halloween colors.
I really think some simmers here are looking too much into these things.

It was Halloween candy. Specifically, the stuff that only comes out at Halloween and a decent portion of the US hates, but a few for each one totally love.

I realize that Halloween isn't as big a deal in the rest of the world as it is in the US - where it's the only thing keeping Christmas Season from starting earlier - but I really think people are reading far, far too much into the Halloween related tweets from the Gurus. I mean, if we were a month later and everything was about American Thanksgiving foods, what would you think about that? that it's some sort of family pack? Or that the guru's are getting hyped for an American Holiday? Move it a month later and it's Christmas stuff? Would you be jumping on it being a Christmas pack? Or just people looking forward to a holiday?

I'm not saying it can't be hints, but the odds of it being a Spooky pack released only a week and a half after the trailer drops are rather low. If they're hints, they're hints to something else.
  • Why do so many people want Supernatural? We've already got great vampires and witches spellcasters -- would those have to be added into a Supernatural pack and everyone who has the individual GPs have wasted their money? Happy Haunts is different -- if we get an upgrade to the current patched-in ghosts, plus maybe add a cemetery lot type so we have a place to park dead Sims' remains, that would be a great pack. Maybe even bring back the ghost hunting from Sims 3 Ambitions. And I wouldn't mind seeing a GP for werewolves, and a free update to promote PlantSims to proper occult status with special gardening abilities (taking the place of fairies and/or elves). But for me, Sims 3 Supernatural was supernatural overkill; I felt like all of the occults suffered (except for vampires who got improved over their Late Night intro) and were diluted.

I agree with you. I rather pay for each occult because they will have more dedication & depth to them. If they’re all brought into one pack they will not be as great. I was very disappointed with mermaids being part of a pack rather then getting its own underwater world with a power system. I think eco living would of been a great pack to add an improve plant sims.

I second EVERYTHING. I would absolutely love a happy haunts pack with no occults, but paranormal stuff, cemeteries and ghost hunter/grim reaper career. I would also enjoy a werewolf GP with a perk system like vampires and RoM.

I personally don't want any other occults except for werewolves. Fairies are too magical for me, to a point I think they don't fit in the sims. It can be interesting to have a normal sim who eventually becomes a werewolf, but fairies are just to much. I always disabled them in Sims 3.
