You do not want to have the vampires taking over your game can you edit them out in some way and keep the stuff that comes with the pack only or do you have to just not download the pack

Because I want to play with vampires, but I don't want them in all of my saves. I mean, I really really love playing with my vampire save. But then, I have other saves with human sims in them, and I don't want vampires in them. So, because I want to play with vampires, I had to get the pack. But because I don't want them in every save, I have to do all kinds of tricks not to have them in all of them.
For example, in my current save, I just deleted the vampires I knew were there (the ones in FH). Then I always try to save in the evening, so if a vampire tries to break in at night, I can just quit without saving. I just check the vampire's name first, and when I open the game again, I go to manage households and delete the vampire that was trying to break in. I've only had to do that twice by now, so I think it works pretty well. I don't want mods.
