This -- most of my witches would be more of the Molly Weasley variety, with some everyday type household spells (repairing broken objects, housecleaning, cooking, etc.) but with some bigger spells available. If they go with something similar with Vampires, maybe the bigger spells use more Magic Power than the small everyday spells so would require more recovery time.
