I think Britechester campus has the right historical vibe for a royal estate. I do play Uni, but my students reside a (residential) dorm at Gibbs Hill. I now wonder if it could work to turn one of the Ubrite dorms into a castle. I know I can only play the top floor, but I assume I can raise wall height and add more floors over it? In my head the size might work for a castle that probably occupied the entire Ubrite hood previously, but at some point in history had a Monarch who was dedicated to education and donated or sold most of the hood for university purposes. I can pretend the content of the castle's first couple floors, and focus more on whatever I build on top floor(s).
My question is whether others did this already? I will still build my own, because I love building, but maybe there are a few restrictions that I should be aware of? If I re-categorize one of those dorm lots to residential, will it work like the Torendi Tower penthouse in San Myshuno? I guess it should not make much of a difference which of the 2 dorms I pick, probably the one farthest away from the students' Commons.

I once tried to recategorize the dorm, just to see if it is possible and it worked. Of course I made sure no students were living there before I changed the lot type. It seemed to work like the pent houses in San myshuno. But it was only a test, I did not play with this lot in my main save.

The idea of a castle in this neighbourhood sounds interesting. I'd like to see the results of a castle build on that spot.
