Thanks for the explanation! I was just a bit confused. I suppose in my mind he would have kept his bachelor name and the Queen would have passed her name on to the children, but of course it's fine for him to take her name as well and to even keep it after remarrying.

I can't say that I blame Amalia at all for acting out (if that's what she's done). It's unfair to be treated so differently just because of who gave birth to you, especially when your siblings are princes.
