- @^ You should've called it Olde Springfield and New Springfield! :P (If you get that reference, good for you! :D )
- In our Capital Citi, San Jua, PR, we have two bridge over the sea that is called two brother bridge, I tried to emulated those two bridges.
- I currently have a number of rivers in my version of Springfield. In one of my concessions to reality, one of them flows past the nuclear power plant (cooling purposes, I guess). Ultimately, when I'm able to purchase enough land, my notion is that those different branches will link up. The underlying idea is that that the river empties into Lake Springfield, but I won't be able to implement that specific idea until the programmers make the strip of land adjacent to the lake available for use by gamers.
- Hi, I am going to make an 'island' Sprinfield. Each building and 'characteristic' house is to be surrounded by the water (I have 20 white, 10 blue and 8 pink housses, and I will sell them soon). Fortunately I have all the buildings so I don't need to spend money for a building anymore. I am gathering money and buying lands. My Springfield is expanding :)
- I have an 8 piece purple house patch (I don't think that's big enough to be called a full farm) that I'm kind of incredibly ashamed of. It's in a far corner. So it's blocked off by a long bridged river which also extends to block off the subatomic supercollider and the nuclear power plant. I also have a tiny bridge platform with one square of river attached somewhere near the back of the power plant, and when I expand in that area I plan to extend that all the way around it. I have a lot of plans for the future with the bridges/rivers but not enough land to execute them. Soon though!
- It's what I've been working on since the last few days, I had a town I liked, but realized I had no water anywhere, so now I'm working on buying land in the south of my Springfield to created a huge lake with islands and stuff, I will be adding trees and special items like the Black hole in the islands, kind of like in the Legend of Zelda, you find hidden stuff when you explore.
Anyway, problem is, land is now around 40K to 50K so...it's getting pretty expensive for only water right now...but will be so worth while when it's done :) - Stuff like that is HARD. (Which is part of the reason I already quit remodeling my Springfield..)
- From the beginning I've liked the way the bridge looked so I made my Springfield an artificial square island. If I open up a water spot in the island I surround it in bridge builds so it looks like the whole town is on top of the water and the bridge supports are now town supports.
Within this square artificial model, I embraced inner city condo habitats. Everything connected by straight roads with as much zoning as the quests allow. - I have a small mountain lake which drains into a number of connectrd waterways and a city lake that go throughout springfield.
Moe's and bad dream house are one separate islands in the city lake, orange and white house in mountain lake. If we ever get burns mansion I might enlarge mountain lake to fit it on it. - I have a city lake that goes all over the city into different areas. It looks pretty cool overall I think.
