The biggest I've ever made was a remake of the Croft Manor in Sims 3. I added everything I could from the games. A security room, garage, the hedge maze, indoor pool and gym, music room, secret passages between rooms.
You could use the bookcase door for secret passages between rooms in Sims 4.
