It's fine to promote your creations here on general discussion. A lot of people have their gallery names in their sig. If you want to post a lot of pictures tho, you'd be better to post them in the Creative Corner threads, sims and modeling for sims and sims 4 lots for builds. If you post them here, it's possible they might get moved to those threads anyway.
