They are releasing a Hobby pack centered around knitting. I think they have a royalty related pack coming soon too.
That's coming out several months from now though not anytime soon"catloverplayer;c-17412507" wrote:

And tbh, I already expected a trailer. I see also a lot of cool GP ideas. So tell me. If you need to guess right know which date will it be announced, and what kind of pack will it be, Will it be an SP, GP or EP.
I expect an Elder Stuffpack, Announced at 10 March, and it will be a GP.
Next pack will be a Gamepack. My guess is either a Romance or Generations GP.
I hope Romance/Marriage (perhaps combined with updated babies?) or a Back to School GP with playable school and preteens ^^
I'd like Generations to be an EP and I want cars to come back, so my Sim parents can teach their teenage children how to drive."auroraael14;c-17411968" wrote:
I'm actually looking forward more to a free patch that improves the sims personalities than a game pack. I know that whatever they give us won't fix the problems that I have already with the game unless it happens to be a game pack similar to the sims 3 generations where it enhances each life stage. Right now the game just feels boring to me especially since I love to play families.
I feel you. It's not like the game is itself boring, there is a lot to do and playing with the active school mod by Zerbu (there is also one by KawaiiStacie which is good too), I feel like I'm enjoying myself a lot while playing my family's school/workweek. But when it gets to the weekend or just school holidays, there isn't much to do. We are just lacking activities that Sims can go together.
Why can't my Sims ride on a boat together as a family, go for a little boat trip? Why can't they build sandcastles (and snowmen) with more than 2 Sims? Why can't they play in the pool together as a group with the floaties (especially the kids)? Why can't my Sims cook together as friends or family, bake cookies together etc.? Why do we miss classic children games like tag, hide and seek, clapping games? I miss my Sim kids running around chasing each other. They can't even play together as a group of Sims with their toys (except for the doll house and the void critters thing, but that's only 2 Sims again...). Yesterday one of my Sim kids met her friends and I just didn't know what to do with them. All I could do was visit a cafe and well, this was boring too, because my Sim got orange juice and the other two girls didn't...
I don't see the problem burried in the Sims personalities, I'm fine with them (even though they could be more detailed and playing out a little more). I see the problem burried in the fact that Sims don't have a lot of interactions and gameplay objects that focus on more than 1 or 2 Sims. Even a pool day gets really boring during summer holidays because well, they don't do a lot together, they swim next to each other; it's just boring. They can't even talk with each other while relaxing on the new loungers we got in IL.- Also, I really miss the seasonal festivals from TS3, there were so many fun activities to do as family or group of friends and you had a reason to go there because it was really fun. Now the festivals from CL, they're just boring, it's AGAIN standing around, chatting and stuff Sims can do all the time like painting, drinking, eating spicy food, it's just so boring. Almost no activities there, none that can be done together... I almost never visit them because there is no point.
- Meh, none of the recent GPs have interested me. They seem to prefer to use GPs for their weirder themes. I'm looking for more normal, family gameplay since there's a severe lack of it.
The only theme I want that I think would fit a GP would be hobbies. "ListentoToppDogg;c-17413153" wrote:

I'd love me a "Back to School" GP with playable school and preteens patched in before!- I hope we hear something soon. Spring is coming so Romance would be cool. Hobbies would be amazing, so that the sims have more to do. If I were to wish for something Occult-y, werewolves would finally complete the previously released Vampires GP. Ya know...they feel like a pair sort of deal.

This x100
this is more Dissapointmenting to me than the personalities. I only really complain about two things in this game. The lack of "togetherness" and the lack of acknowledgement sims have for eachother. Like when a sim is sick we should have options and ways for another sim to take care of them. Buying yourself medicine on the computer just ain't it. It feels like sims are together yet alone at the same time. ?
I am trying to play a house of poor sims with two kids so they can't afford much. But without objects it's just not much to do besides endless talking. I wanted the kids to run around outside and play games with eachother, build forts maybe jump on the beds for fun, hopscotch, etc. They cannot even bike ride. And group activities are rare.
