In CAS, how do I make a Sim (e.g. from the gallery) into a mermaid?

Yeah ugh.... that is SO much effort and not what I was looking for.

There should be a way to link a created sim with the mermaid trait in CAS. I mean even if you just randomise them. Say you started making your Sim and forgot to make them a mermaid. It takes forever to get their face the way you want... and then you just have to discard that or randomise until your face turns green before you even have the right "template" to start off with. Because you can't edit any face to look like a face you want.

What about cheats? And is the kelp thing permanent?

I just found this cheat : Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_OccultMermaid.

Thank you, I will try that. It's really tedious though. Say I download a Sim from the gallery for looks only - for example a Sim that looks like a celebrity or movie/tv show character. And I want to make them a mermaid. That option should be in CAS. It's another oversight to leave out that option. Annoying.
