  • Thanks for this, I had missed it, too.

After reading the contest rules I feel very excluded by EA, though. Because not living in one of a handful countries, I can not participate, although being very active in the TS community for about 24 years. Those living in the right country can sign up today and participate, even if they never ever touched the game. EA has been extremely focused on including everyone - almost to the insane levels, but excluding a huge part of the community from this contest seems like no big deal. I could have understood such limitations if the 1st price was $1,000,000 but it is just the value of one pack - maybe a Kit at §5... So why the exclusion?

I think such an important "you are not invited to our party" should have been posted for everyone to see, not only in the small print, which many won't even read.

I'll make sure to applaud the winners from the wrong side of the fence, though.

    *stepping down from the soapbox*.

Thankyou, I actually did miss it and was bummed thinking we weren't going to get it this year 😁

Well this is a disappointment. I am also not allowed to participate and share in the Christmas spirit because EA thinks I live in the wrong country. :( Not being allowed to participate in a giveaway is aggravating and feels unfair. But this is a more than just a giveaway. This is a giveaway and a Christmas celebration at the same time. So EA is excluding me and other simmers from participating in simsmas equals excluding us from celebrating Christmas on this forum. That's just heartbreaking.

Once again, this very restricting limit to their giveaways. This isn't the first time, I've noticed it many times before in their social media when they've made a big deal about a giveaway. They never say it out loud that a lot of us aren't allowed to participate, only those people who actually check the rules realize this :( It would be nice to know the reason for this and why the participating countries are only English-speaking ones?
