@JustinB113, I agree with you. This way you can have a Western theme ranch (and breeding horses) if you want, or a countryside living in their respective worlds. But as the animals and gameplay can be used in other worlds as well, you can have farms that have all the animals. In other area farms do have chickens, cows, goats, sheep and horses in real life. Horse breeders as well can live anywhere. Horses should be available anywhere you can have sims as they made them part of the household. I have no doubt we can combine them all!
