In Sims 4, sims don't do anything on their own

In Sims 4, sims don't do anything on their own. If I don't tell them anything, they just stand around doing nothing all day. How can I fix this?

    This a common issue at the moment. Look in up in the forums and see if anyone with the same issue has found a solution 🙂
