LOL, I think believing this team can write code to make the game exempt family and friends was funny to me. (No offense to you or them but I had a good laugh) when the game isn't complicated enough (intricate) to remember my Sim's nephew is still her nephew (kid) even when her brother dies. For some reason the game thinks they are no longer kin. And we expect this team/Maxis to better or know how to fix these things to make certain the game remembers family most of all. Not happening.

So I see that this is still not fixed yet?

I just brought my sim over to his mom's house with his fiancee and kids, and tried to have him cook something for everyone to eat, and his mom yelled at him with the "react to inappropriate behavior." They have a 100% relationship, by the way. She didn't autonomously cook anything for them and the grandkids were hungry, so what else is he supposed to do? What grandmother wouldn't want her grandkids to be fed? He can't ask her to cook something for them. He can't ask if he's allowed to cook. So everybody just starves or they go home? Or they run halfway across the neighborhood and use a public grill and waste a ton of time?

It just feels so anti-social. It's his mom's house, his childhood home, and his kids are hungry. How is that even inappropriate behavior?

There NEEDS to be different rules for close family members. This is silly.

I like this feature it makes the game more realistic but maybe it's a little out of hand since they probs didn't coded it to not be enabled when the sim is friends with a member of that house's household.

So what about the uppercrusts club I go to the Berjesen household for the club and it's impolite to cook there but I'm in the club see little bugs like this rattles my nerves.

Yes, quality control is not even part of the process in a lot of our minds. And starting to look that way.

But it shouldn't happen during a club gathering and those are the things the club members are supposed to be doing. I tested this the other day in a new game. I sent Professor Stokes over to Angelique's cabin in the woods, he used her bathroom, took a shower in her hidden basement, and the only time she told him he was inappropriate is when he tired to swipe something (autonomously). lol So, I have no idea why family kicks out Sims and strangers don't for showering etc.

Oh it happened to me with the Uppercrusts Club I got kicked out for inappropriate behavior for cooking.

I cooked on their grill once and was okay when I was in the Uppercrusts Club....too afraid to try it on the stove in the house.

I wish this was tweaked so that it didn't apply to good friends and family. It'd be easily solvable with a "ask permission to..." option.
Of course my neighbors can still woohoo in my closet or spend the entire time on my computer, but I can't call them out for it -__-

Yes, my neighbors came in and instead of eating what was on the counter (my Sim had prepared for them) they went to the fridge later and got my Sim's left overs. How come we can't say that's inappropriate, but they can be a very bad host or hostess and let your Sim starve. Seems backwards.
