South Asian here. Nothing offensive to see here.
I'm quite excited for both. The South Asian kit seems to have captured the beauty of our fashion. Though not nearly enough jewelry or variety. We have hand made saris,lenghas,salwar kameezes etc. That goes on For years and years and still you will never see the end of it. Because they are constantly making new ones daily! If anyone has seen an older bollywood move that's a good example. Though I'm from Sri lanka we share the same fashion and culture with most of South Asian with minor differences.
But this is a kit afterall. So can't expect much.
If you just walk into our bracelet store the entire store will be covered in bracelets of all size, shape, color, and sparkle you can imagine. South Asia is a fashion heaven. The henna was a nice addition. I love henna!! I should start doing my own again....
I am not offended it's just a kit. I couldn't care less about culture representation. Honestly just want a fun engaging game and wouldn't care if I never saw anything related to me. Give me adventure, drama, lore, challenge, consequences, and zombies. I'll be happy.
But since this is here it's nice to have. ? and since I enjoy CAS I'll have fun making some South Asian families and maybe a simself too.

The Korean kit is fun too! I have Korean friends and I'm a big fan of the country/culture and people. Korean fashion is the total opposite of South Asia but it's really nice in a different way! I have quite a few Korean outfits and my brother has these super fashionable Korean clothes I brought for his birthday. He gets so many compliments on it.
I don't think this kit has captured the "best" of K fashion but it's really nice stuff and I have a lot of East Asian sims so this is perfect.
In general they do tend to wear muted colors a lot in Korea.
Would we nice to get a b/b CAS to go along with these. Always wanted to make a South Asian house but even with cc couldn't find much.
