To each their own, I guess. I am incredibly exited for this and will get it as soon as possible! But I am a bit biased, since Island paradise was one of the best sims experiences ever for me.
Edit: I also do not understand this attitude. Sims fans are very diverse and there are many categories devs need to please. Just because you do not like it, does not mean everyone will feel the same. A bit childish tbh,
