I have bought all the packs, from every Sims franchise ever, and have spent a ton at the Sims 3 store. I'm ok with previously "exclusive to pack" content being put in the basegame. I think it's fine, especially for older packs. This is similar to have Sims Deluxe, and Sims Double Deluxe worked for previous versions of the game. However, the window from Industrial Loft Kit is different. I bought the kit for the window. I did not receive the window in my kit. And now the window is going straight to basegame without ever being exclusive to the kit. I am dissatisfied with my purchase, because without the window, I do not feel the pack is worth what I paid for it in Canadian dollars. If you agree, please respond and maybe we convince them to give us refunds as an option.

Yeah pretty crappy of them. So for those of use who specifically bought that kit JUST to get the window that was showcased, we've been ripped off. Makes me not want to get any more kits now, because months later it will be given away for free.

tbh I would have been also annoyed if they updated the window into the kit because its like part of the moschino set thoughi think base game is good call but yes you should perhaps be more careful about what comes in a pack and yes they shouldn't use false images of things to advertiseand yes maybe you should be able to get refund due to false advertising

Didn't they say they were adding that window in an update on Twitter?

If it still wasn't added, screenshot that tweet and take it to Origin support. You may get farther than you think.

Actually no, it's being added to a future base game update. I can see why some would be upset by this one.

Can I ask what it is about this window that makes it so much different than what we have already? I'm genuinely curious, I don’t mean to say there is no difference- I just think it looks pretty interchangeable with what I already have. This kit is the only kit I bought (months later) and I bought it for the bed, couch and decor.

I don’t blame anyone for finding this upsetting. It’s false advertising. I’m just super impressed that anybody can pick this window out of a lineup. That’s an attention to detail I just don’t have. ?

I build a ton, and had a certain vision when I bought the kit. I was ok with it being delayed and being added into the kit eventually. But being added direct to basegame is just a big oooofff
