Delete your LocalThumbCache and repair your game. And take a look at your CC folder and see if you have any other CC cribs. Another thing to investigate is if all of your mods are updated. Above all else, make sure your Sim has a clear path to the crib or if there is a wall hanging or shelf above the crib.
