Infants not going in crib

I had to just start a new save. All my same cc and on occasion the infants glitch, but for the most part they work. When I first posted this on my old save I didnt have any options for my infants. I could pick up the infants but that was it. And I am playing with the exact same family just in a brand new save.
Should something like this occur again, and you've pulled your Mods folder just to be certain nothing in there is the culprit, and it continues to happen, do a game repair.
Thank you. I do need to do that. I was anxious about playing with infants and am very attached to that specific family. So I will try that.
