I started a chat with customer support at CD Keys to inform them that even though I preordered Growing Together through them, I did not receive access to the additional preorder content. They created a ticket for me and said they would get back with me.
I just received an email from support and they ended up giving me a second code and said this new code is specifically for the preorder content. I entered the code into the EA app and now have the preorder content in my library.
So, if you're like me and you purchased Growing Together from CD Keys but noticed you did not receive access to the digital preorder content, simply contact their customer support and hopefully they will issue you a second code so you get the extra stuff too.
Woah, I'm astounded that you got it and I'm amazed people have been getting bonus items from them in the past.
When I had the problem with the Cottage Living bonus items I was 'reliably' informed by the EA rep that we cannot get bonus items from CD Keys as they are not an approved retailer and that was always true for me in the past which is why I bought from EA this time at the full darn price ?
