Interior decorator career problems
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm having real problems with any interior decorator career gig that involves an addition - the game won't let me add walls that are attached to any current walls, but I HAVE to add a room to fulfil the gig demands. Which means that all of my clients now have a very inconvenient basement as their 'addition', even when they asked for a bedroom closet...
Is there something I'm missing?
Edit: I've been experimenting, it keeps saying 'you cannot add walls to an existing structure, add them to a new room off an existing structure'. It will let me add a wall off a current wall, however as soon as I try and turn it into a room, it goes red and that error message comes up. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong in the world of what is considered an 'addition'? It also won't let me change anything about the current structure including new stairs, doors etc.
