Okay, I've read through the actual details in the OP, and as someone who needs to control all the Sims and has dreaded story progression coming to my game, I'm... actually okay with what I'm seeing? I don't see any indication that there are features I can't turn off from happening without my permission. The only thing that's not clear at the moment is whether I can turn off the system entirely if I decide it's annoying. Was that covered in the livestream I missed?
