Invisible Nanny?

Question

So every now and then when I hire a Nanny the game says they were hired but they never show up on my lot.  However they will magically make food and change the baby's diaper while still not being there...  I would not really worry about it but it makes it impossible to dismiss them when the grownups get home.

I just saw this happen recently. Not at all sure what causes it or how to fix it, unfortunately. Maybe @rosemow will know something?
