Is anyone able to start their game today?

I have no idea where to post this Q, if there is a tech help forum (except game help where we can't post) let me know :) No popup at EA help site today, but I can not get my App to work and find no info regarding tech problems. My library is empty.

If they have trouble 2nd day running, I'd expect some info somewhere, but found nada so I assume I might be in a smaller group of simmers just being out of luck. I wanted to try repairing the App, but did not find how to du that. Is it automatically repaired if there is problems, or is there any option I should click (but obviously missed or misread). I had turned auto updates for "application" off, because I assumed they by "application" could mean "game", but now I found there is a separate option for avoiding auto game updates, so I turned the app update back on...

Any ideas?

    I was able to update my Anime Earth/Moon family household with the new personality traits & dynamics along with some minor new objects updates on some of their rooms.
    I’ve resaved them in the Gallery under my username SEREFRAS.
    I’m only a Vanilla player so no worries about mods. Also I use a lot of my packs & some of the pretty kits. If any simmer isn’t up to date with their own packs & kits, no worries, just redecorate the rooms with what packs you have. And please credit me for the original, thanks ☺️

  • Sims 4 will not load on 2 PC's (me and wife). Wondering if anyone can offer tips?

    I have:

    --uninstalled and reinstalled the game at Steam. also tried the verify file integrity step at steam.

    --uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app. also tried the repair step at EA. also tried the disconnect from steam step at EA.

    --Updated pc stock display drivers and gaming display drivers.

    --turned off any and all virus protection and tried to run.

    --I did have one mod, a file to allow from 2 player coop on PC's. I think that is deleted, but it is still listed, but it will not disappear and says bath path or something when i try to delete or open.

    --Tried to run without wifi connected.

    I think that's it. I think another major clue is that both my wife and I cannot run the game. Same household, 2 dif PC's, she and I both have played the game many times...me about 3 months ago, her about a week ago. Is it THEM? Is EA or sims 4 down right now, in general? For others?

    What is specifically happening is --- I try to launch (both from steam and from EA, same thing happens) -- and it says 'launching', then a second EA icon pops up in the bottom field of screen (the first being the EA app that's open)... then it just disappears after about 2 seconds, and the game never runs.

    Super frustrating, been working on this for 4 hours, any tips appreciated?
  • i can start mine i just can't buy the new packs. well kits. i get errors every time.
