Is anyone else disappointed with the High Maintenance trait?

Don't tone it down
I want control over the death of sims (which would require a tone down)

This should be managed through a toggle or turn death off. Leave the trait alone, death seems to be the issue. I want control over when they die (I understand some don't) but I do enjoy the trait... until it kills my Sims. I have 45 in rotation. I'm not trying to come back after 3 sim years to a family only to have one die of rage or the giggles.
Give me a death option and that fixes this whole topic imo
