I've seen it several times. At first, I thought it was a feature, rather than a bug, because the Sim was flirting with a new acquaintance and had a ridiculous, cheesy grin on his face as he turned, breaking the fourth wall in the process. Then, when it kept happening--and at less opportune moments--it turned plain creepy.
