It is very annoying to say the least. However, it would be odd if they weren't working on a bug fix right now. The bug only recently occurred so I'm not too worried yet, I hope they're looking for a solution. I'll only get upset next patch day if no bug fix is included for the food stealing. I do agree that it is very frustrating when you've spent money on this pack. It is basically not acceptable for it not to work. I'm hoping for a quick solution.
The doctor career doesn't seem to cause a lot of trouble for me right now. I'm not actively playing the two other careers from Get To Work at the moment so no complaints there.
