I might be wrong, but I think all sims regardless of personality will do the same idle animations if the surroundings or their age supports it. I think such idles would be a lot more interesting if they were more personalized. I'd love that some sim with an artistic mind , or snobby mind set, reacted to room scores all day long. But a slob should not care less. I also would like that elders have extreme back pains if this mostly happened to elders who were not so healthy or very old. My elders "break" their back more or less constantly. They also make a huge number out of being confused (looking left and right and obviously not quite understand what is going on), which I hate with a passion because it is so overdone. This could be limited to goofballs and coach potatoes, while intellectual sims who most likely learned to trim their brain through a long life, should not be totally lost just because their hair turned grey.
Idles could be great if happening only to a few sorts of personalities. There's plenty of personality+skills+traits+health scores to calculate whether a sim should do each idle animation or not.
