I paid $6.49 for the digital deluxe and have been playing for 2 weeks now. Yes I'm starting to get bored because I am still playing Sims 3 with all the expansions. But I am still having fun with Sims 4.
Like the others said, playing this base game WILL make you want to buy more stuff. :) So far I have been browsing the Gallery and adding content that way.
