Is Fabulously Filthy broken?

To make friends with dust bunnies, I just have to feed them very regularly (every time it is available) for a while (about a sim day or two) and eventually the other options also unlock and they become happy, and friends, shortly after. It requires you be pretty on top of it though, because if you go too long without feeding it again once the feed option becomes available, it slips back down.

I've never done the aspiration you are trying to do and have no input on the cooking meals option, but I would suggest trying family size, making sure you are using the "cook" and not "gourmet cook" skill, and doing it from the menu on a stove rather than the refrigerator. I assume you were trying it on the refrigerator before. Those are just some of the other variables in getting it to register on other aspirations that I'd try.

Total aside, but it's kind of refreshing when you ask questions like this because at the least we know we can rule out that it is "some mod or another" causing your problem.

Thanks. I can't do it now because I've gotten way too disgusted with this filth and we had a fire. As a result, I had to clean the house... everywhere except the parents' room since the fire was their fault.

For story purposes, they have to die so I don't know if or when I'll ever do this aspiration again. This house was a horrible mess! I was ashamed for their son who had to live in it.

At first, I was having fun with it but no thank you. It was horrible! HORRIBLE, I SAY!

Okay so I restarted that game and got on top of the befriend a dust bunny aspiration immediately and did it quickly this time. The place isn't nearly as disgusting and depressing this time around. So I'm going to try this again. So yeah, at least with that, your tips were seem spot on.

I'll try your suggestions with the cooking once the floors become dirty.

As for why I think the other one got so completely out of control is because I used the Grody, Filthy and one other curse on that lot for the added realism to the aspiration early on and then forgot. Lol So yeah, I think I'll go easy on those this time around.
