Is horse ranch still buggy?

I haven't experienced any bugs as of yet. I have just hired a ranch hand though, and apparently there is a bug where they have to be rehired every few sim days, so I'll let you know how that one goes!

I had no bugs that I noticed. Everything runs brilliantly on my very old computer, and I added horses, sheep and goats to a large number of households. I'd say this is one of the packs with very few bugs, so I would not wait just because of bugs... I hired a farm hand only once, figured it was not suitable for that lot as I was playing a noble household where it looked wrong when the filthy hired man walked around the big house to use the sinks etc. That was not a bug though, I assume farm hands are meant to walk inside clean/fix things, and I will probably use them on more ranch-like lots, and not for a manor.

My Horse Ranch pack works very well. It could be because I only play vanilla on my PC. :p

Yeah, the only real bug is the ranch hand needing to be re-hired every couple of days. He always does a good job, though, and it's the same one every time.

I haven't encountered any actual bugs in this EP, at least none that people talk about, but then again, I never hired a ranch hand. The only thing that annoys me is the rather long, noticeable delay whenever I tell a sim to interact with a horse. It often gets to a point where it seems like the sim is ignoring my order, then I tell them again, and suddenly the interaction queues up twice in a row. Sims also sometimes dismount the horse for no apparent reason and without an explanatory pop-up after I tell them to go for a ride.

I agree that it's not a buggy pack. Been playing since release, have several households with horses, sheep and goats, and it's very smooth. Of course, this doesn't account for system issues that can cause blips or lag or general base game problems.

I have had the ranch hand issue, have had to rehire, sometimes they work into the night, but it honestly doesn't bother me that much, I don't find it invasive or anything. I use them all the time, I find them really necessary for households that have a lot of animals, and they've even helped care for my Cottage Living cows.

All in all, I love the horses, they will probably be my Sims' main mode of transportation from now on, even if we get cars one day. (Unless we get a horse and cart or carriage, which would be epic!)

I also agree the Pack isn't buggy at all. I do not use Ranch Hands, so for me, there are zero bugs.

I too can say this pack is pretty good concerning bugs. Sometimes the horse gets a little wonky, the animation of going around barrels doesn't happen often so I don't care. I love, love the sheep and goats, probably even more than horses. :D

When I first got the pack, my Sim/horse would freeze every once in awhile . But I haven’t experienced that again.

The Ranch hands are somewhat buggy. Things that have helped me with that is not having the the community board that comes with the pack on my lot. Also, if you leave the lot before the ranch-hand work hours end they will still be on your lot when you come back. Which then causes them not to come back the next day. so you have to rehire them.

While annoying, I don’t find them to be game breaking bugs.
