Is it a real drag to removed purchased content from TS4 - anyone actually done it?

I bought the Vampire GP - but I only wanted it for role-play and I don't want vampires appearing all of the time to annoy my Sims. So, with that in mind, I'd rather just uninstall the Vampire pack ...

It's that simple?

If that works, then a billion Simmers are going to pop like sunbathing sausages that are ready to pop.

I am in CAS at the moment, but I will soon try this.

ps.
Should it not work, then billions upon billions of Simmers will hunt you down.
