I have a sim with all skills, aspirations and both branches of careers. I wanted her to get to level 10 in all to unlock all the furniture. What I did was have her get to level 10 in one of the branches, say chef, and then do the same for all the other careers. Then I saved her to my library and added her to a new save. Then I could start over and join the other branch while still keeping the furniture I previously unlocked.
I play aging off (or give her youth potions). Now I'm just wanting for more careers and aspirations for her to have something to do =D
