Is It Possible To Move A Cowplant When Your Sim Leaves Home? UPDATE

My Sim planted a Cowplant seed and has grown quite fond of the Beastie. She will be heading off to Uni in the not-too-distant future, and from there she will be on her own. Is there anyway she can keep her Cowplant? (This is only the second time I've had one in my game.)

I do know that if the entire family moves out together, if they keep their furnishings, the plants come, too. But, she is heading to Uni and from there she won't go back to live with her parents, which is why I ask.

Please, and thank you, in advance.

  • UPDATE: EA really, really, REALLY needs to fix this returned bug. When I got back into my game today, the Cowplant was mature once again. However, while all the kids are back in school, the mom was busy around the house. Since neither floor needed vacuuming, she tended to the garden that had fallen to slight neglect those final few days of summer vacation. She weeded, she watered, then she harvested. In checking on Bossie, all that shows now, are her horns. Face/palm. (Makes me wonder what exactly was harvested?) Louise just fed the beast, too. I'm glad, now, that I have uploaded a room with said plant in it. I have three weeks of Fall and in that first week of Winter, all five of the kids will age up. Once the only girl ages up, the first four will be shipped off to Britechester-U. I won't look back. I'll stop aging for the duration of Uni, but then I'll set all households to age, since I play on Long. Oh, well. Bossie was getting pretty demanding. LOL
