- Suziish7 years agoSeasoned AceTake it slow. Build up a high friendship and then do the gentle romances. Flirt, compliment appearance, give rose, plenty of friendly interactions in between.
Once you have a decent romance from that, move to peppering in embrace and kiss and such.
Pay attention to the unflirty sim. If they reject a romance, back off and do friendly for a bit. Let them get out of the awkward buff.
It's a process, but my legacy gen 3 heir just romanced and married a unflirty, jealous sim. And they'll have 10 kids this gen. :D :D - BabyCake047 years agoNew AdventurerThanks for the advice, let's hope this works. :)
- Fanphoria7 years agoSeasoned AceYes, I agree. I'm doing a 100 baby challenge, and have attempted getting with unflirty sims, with mixed success. Building up your charisma so you get Enchanting Introduction definitely helps, and pay attention to the other sim's mood cause if it's anything negative attempt will likely only make it worse. But if they're in a good mood and you go slow--and especially if your sim has a high charisma, or good fame reputation--it's definitely possible.
- MDianaSims7 years agoSeasoned AceIn addition to what's been said above, I don't know how many reward points your sim has, but if you have enough to buy the beguiling trait, you might want to consider it. That trait gives your sim an interaction that never fails and instantly puts the other sim in a very flirty mood. And very flirty sims are far more receptive to romantic interactions.
- Build up the friendship bar first, and try starting the romantic actions at the Unflirty Sim's home since they tend to be a little more comfortable there.
- Stina1701A7 years agoSeasoned AceHaving that Sim as a BFF does help as well, if you want to go that route. But high friendship alone is sufficient. Along with a LOT of patience on your part
Another way, if you want to use that one, is cheating/editing out the unflirty trait and replacing it with something else. You will need cas.fulleditmode along with testingcheats on. "Stina1701A;c-16962162" wrote:

You actually don't need a cheat. There's a re-traiting potion. It's 5000 satisfaction points, which is a lot, but I've worked it into my plots to have one Sim gift the potion to another. The Unflirty Sim would need to be in the household to control when he drinks it and what traits he picks.
My very first Sim was Unflirty, and she could still get in a flirty mood if there were romantic objects around.
Most romance actions would just build up friendship with her. I think her first romantic relationship was Caleb Vatore used Alluring Visage on her.- Strangerthan7 years agoSeasoned VanguardDon't romance them in front of any other sims! That's a biggie! Unflirty sims hate being watched.
- Fierande7 years agoSeasoned AceI have romanced two unflirty Sims, and I've found it pretty easy honestly. Like others said, it is better for your Sim to be alone though. In my case, the Unflirty Sim actually flirted back with mine just as much LOL. What I've personally found, is it's incredibly hard to PLAY an unflirty Sim and have them do the romancing... but wooing an unplayed unflirty Sim, is not too much trouble at all. It's when they become playable, that they get harder to deal with I imagine - but as soon as your relationship's high enough, you won't notice that much anymore. I actually had my first Sim's Unflirty girlfriend often arrive in a Flirty mood when I'd invite her over, which I still don't get how that happened LOL... but it happened a lot. They seem to be relatively easy to get into Flirty moods as long as they're unplayed. Active unflirty Sims... whole different story. :joy: My sweetheart of an active unflirty Sim had yet to find anyone. :joy:

My Sim's unflirty girlfriend flirting with her autonomously... this was back when they just met, so their romance bar was maybe halfway filled, same with their friendship bar.
My active unflirty Sim, however...

Also a helpful tip: Unflirty Sims also REALLY don't like to be hugged, so don't use that interaction as it will often go wrong, even with an almost completely filled friendship bar. - You can use "Hook up with" interaction. I've tried it several times, and it's always work :open_mouth:
