Hmmm, I'm still undecided about this. I bought the pack solely for the world, and I'd say I 95% regret not waiting until it was on sale. (The 5% is because I use the working tea sets a LOT, particularly in Henford).
The world is beautiful, but it feels incomplete and barren when you actually try wandering around in it. As others have said, everything closes early. There's no real space to add commercial/retail lots, particularly in the "downtown" area, which is a huge missed opportunity. The shell buildings are better than nothing, but only just barely. And there aren't even harvestables in the world, which is so bizarre to me. Especially now that we have the simple living challenge, one of the first things I usually do with any new household is take them out to gather ingredients, which is a great opportunity to wander around and explore the world, but here's there's no opportunity to do that. The swimmable water (albeit extremely limited in location) is great and searching for the bottles is nice, but that's basically all there is to do. It's like the whole world is basically there for people to take screenshots and post them online, which is fine I guess if you're into that, but it does nothing for me.
I'm sure maybe eventually I'll work on the world a bit more to improve it, and go back to playing the one household I moved in, but for now, it's basically just a prettier version of Glimmerbrook, which I also barely touch.
