Is Politican career an active career?

I doubt any more active careers will be added to the game, as they were the focal point of Get To Work.

I bet is an active career... with more field work than Doctor

I don't think it would be an active career, BUT I think it may come with some special interactions and/or making speeches like in the video could be its daily task to lift performance.

Groups were the focal point for GT but the Gurus still build on that.

I had watched the official trailer for CL 5 times now, and I didn't notice any Political Career active or otherwise in the trailer. I'm thinking (if it's an active career) that you would start as an assistant protester, then sign painter, wood nailer, etc. And on up through the ranks until you are the Mayor.

Here's the thing, I didn't notice anything that remotely hinted towards an active or inactive Political career in that trailer anyways. The trailer mainly focused on apartments, penthouse life, and street life in the way of like street fairs and that sort of stuff. I saw what looked like an active entertainer career. A living statue performance. Food booths, the eating contest might be coming back as well as the bubble blowing machine. I saw that the fireworks might also be making a return as well. I saw some new clothes with new patterns on them, new decor, the possible return of the electric piano, new hair styles, one new hat, and various other new stuff too. But no Political career or anything pointing to such.

I hope that politician is an active career, and this piece of text from the game description seems to suggest so

That's a good point, the speeches and protests could just be a daily work task for job performance.

If its fade off the lot then I will never use them. I'm tired of all that rabbit hole stuff.

People would still buy GTW for those specific careers and for the ability to have shops (you might want to make/download shops to visit even if you don't want to run them).

If Politics is active (and it looks like at least that one is) then you won't need GTW to play it as active.
