Is Sims 4 Spa Day worth it?

I would say it depends on your style of play. I like the Wellness skill but over all I rarely use most of the pack. To be honest I tend to forget to place Spas in my worlds and if I have them I rarely have sims that it makes sense to send to them anyway. I would mostly recommend it if you like modern style build/buy mostly because it does bring a lot of that to the table. However if the only thing that appeals to you is the hair then it's probably not going to be worth the money for you in the long run and you're better off searching for CC along the same lines.

It is my favorite gamepack. I use it all the time :) It is definitely worth it imo.

Personally I think it's worth it. I don't really send my sims to the spa much, but I'm in love with the buy/build items. I have something from that pack in every house, and I do enjoy the yoga feature. Honestly I think it's worth the money (especially on sale), because it gives you more workout type items than the fitness pack IMO.

My usual response is that it really depends on your playstyle.

I think that as a pack, Spa Day is kind of niche. It's not really something to generally appeals to people. In my case, I like it well enough, but I only send my sims to the spa every once in a while. The CAS items aren't so bad either. While it's a nice thing to do on your sims' day off, the spa objects just give happy moodlets and don't really affect the core gameplay that much. Yoga and meditation are more accessible at home, although AFAIK, their effects are limited as well. I think if your wellness skill is high enough, your sim can teleport while meditating like in Sims 2, but I haven't tried this out myself.

My advice is to look over the CAS items and gameplay videos. Think how much use you'll get out of the pack, and decide if it's worth 15 bucks to you. :)

Love the build items as well as some said.
Even thou I don't go to the spas very often, I do use the wellness skill and the items from the pack again, are super nice.

I also enjoy having all the neat "bath soaks" from it that give my sims some great long lasting emotions that come in handy for work moods.

I think its worth it. I use the build/buy items the most, especially the tables and chairs, i have some in almost every house i build.
I don't use the spas to much really. I always add yoga mats to gyms though, and at least 1 full spa. I like doing a spa day before a wedding too.

I like Spa Day a lot. I usually have two Spas in every save and one club that does Spa activities and is named 'The Well-Beings' or something equally silly.
I like the workout clothes more than those in the Fitness Pack and it comes with an awesome two- piece swimsuit.
The Wellness skill is a great skill to have as your sims will learn to influence other sims emotions for hours, making them focussed, creative or confident. And the yoga mat workout gives your sim long-lasting emotions, ideally used before work or for skill building.
The pack comes with great venues but you can also place a yoga mat in any gym and an instructor will show up. I made an outdoor spa for my sims with the "Loves Outdoors" trait, for example.
It's a pretty great pack in my opinion.

I love the spa day pack. It's an integral part of my game play. My sim regularly visits the spa for yoga classes, sauna, and massages. Then lunch out with the girls. :) Also love the mud baths and soaks at home. I have a spa in Granite Falls and one in Newcrest. I also have a shop that sells items from the pack along with some of the potions available from Outdoor Retreat.

I use the wellness skill in almost every household; it replaces fitness for some of my sims (I think they may have toned it down a little, but a Sim could get completely ripped doing yoga). Like others have said I don't typically send Sims to the spa, but a lot of the spa items can be incorporated very well into gyms and add a lot of variety (like yoga classes!) There are also several tubs that fit nicely into regular homes where you can use the different bath soaks for varying effects, like getting rid of a tense mood very quickly. It wasn't a pack I had very much interest in when it came out but the varying elements of it have integrated into my regular game play much more deeply than say, Outdoor Retreat or Dine Out. (Vampires and Parenthood are much more intentionally integrative than the three earlier packs.)

So, uh, yes. I think so. :) But in the end it depends on if that's the kind of thing you want your sims to do.

If your Sims are very uncomfortable at home you can add a the table and give them a massage at home, without having to use the decorative crystals etc. It adds more gameplay than an emotional crystal. Also, I used the chairs and put them in a mall for a nail shop, so when my Sim went there she offered to do other Sims' nails, (massage hands etc.) Imagination goes a long way when playing these games. ETA: And I used the yoga mats (trainer mat is needed for the instructor to s how up) to have them do yoga at the gym I built.
