Is Sims 4 Spa Day worth it?

Others are going to say the sauna, sauna woohoo, yoga and the wellness skill are the best features. I on the other hand, am going to show you why you should buy it.

I think so. The build\buy stuff is pretty amazing. I love the yoga and massages for my Sims. I usually add both to all my gyms.

Spa Day is a very nice pack, but currently not in good shape. Two types of massage are broken (hand and stone massage) and NPC Sims won't use the massage tables autonomously. That means that until a yoga class ist starting, everyone is standing and waiting in the locker room.

I'm optimistic that SD will get a lot of fixes before its release for consoles. So I would still wait to buy it.

@alanmichael1 NPCs not getting massages is not something that I would think makes the pack worthless. Obviously it is a bug and should be fixed. But with all the activity in my spa I didn't even notice it. There is meditation, having fruity drinks and socializing and I usually add a pool. Also my sims can still get massages, one of my sims got a hand massage just the other day. I would say still worth getting the pack on sale, if you like the content.

@Netzspannung For me the main problem with Spa Day is that often all NPCs keep standing in front of the closet for minutes because unless a Yoga Class starts, they are not triggered to do anything (I wish such a behavior would occur in Dine Out where everybody is jogging). A workaround is to create an NPC massage club - Sims will then at least briefly use the tables.

@alanmichael1 I can see how that is annoying. I guess because of my wellness clubs gathering at the spa (their do's usually are spa activities, being friendly, drinking bar drinks, swimming) I never noticed that the other NPCs were just hanging out in the locker room.

This has never happened to me though.

I am sure you'll have fun with it. I especially like running into them at the spa, when I am playing another sim. I also assign work-out outfits and swimwear sticking to one color scheme. I make five of each, so they don't all wear the same outfit.

I enjoy this pack a lot even though I don't send my sims to the spa much. I use the wallpaper and floors all the time especially for my scientist sims.. much prettier and modern to look at than standard tiles. The furniture is great too a softer modern look. The incense can start .. or use to start fires pretty often if you left it burning on a coffee table for a long time. Hehe..
Yoga mats that you can carry around and bring with you adds to immersion for that type of character and also is a great way to get in some of the moods offered. I use it to get focused now and then since its portable. I use the massage table frequently and the chair now and then. The meditation is great for a guru type of character and they gain the teleport ability through it. And the baths are a must at this point for my athlete sims. They just take a bath and go right back to working out. (I forget which type of bath). The candles are pretty and an easy way to get a mood going for the room.. I use that for flirty more than anything cause its cheap and easy to get early on for my romance sims.
