That's an interesting question.
As a completionist I own a lot of different DLC. I don't know how much they reflect me. I am mainly eclectic and use a little bit of everything. For example I like the retail function from get to work but have not yet played a single police officer or doctor in the 6 years that I own the pack. When I build or create a sim I use tiny bits of several packs. Nearly all have at least something on offer that interests me.
As a completionist I mainly focus on gameplay. What does a certain DLC allow me to do. I will never have all kits. But the bigger packs that offer new possibilities are so tempting.
Perhaps my playstyle is mostly seen when I answer the 'which DLC is your favourite' questions. I mainly like magical or supernatural gameplay, something that triggers my imagination. I tend to go back and forth between family gameplay and goal oriented stories (university, climbing Mt komorebi, exploring the jungle,...) So I do like a little bit of everything, but always with a spellcaster, werewolf, mermaid,...
