Is the daily task all or nothing?
Can the daily task be partially completed and you will receive partial credit for it at work? Or do you have to complete the task to get any credit for it? Sometimes I only get a partial amount don...

I find it's easiest to do the daily task if you can incorporate it into what they have to do anyway to progress their skills. I.E. one of my sims is working towards the top of the mixology branch and so her daily task includes either mixing drinks or cooking food, and so she will mix drinks which also helps her mixology skill. Two birds, one stone. It's really not required, I've had sims get promoted without it, but it can help to speed up the process for sure.
