I was like you, not caring for the pet clothes at all, nor the adult CAS stuff...but I'm happy with the things I listed for the 6 bucks I paid for it. Some of the build mode stuff is also decent, for a kid's or toddler's room. They did a nice job matching it to existing kid's room furniture.
Not really. I use a lot of cc so I'm not short on CAS and BB items that I like much better. The cat condos are just new meshes of the existing condos with no new animations. Not even the pet clothing seems particularly appealing.

That mod is sweet. I wish the real thing had as many options as those. It's up to you, but keep in mind that it's probably the lowest it's going to get considering it's a SP.
