Is the Martial Arts skill returning?
I was under the assumption the martial arts skill was returning to this scene in the trailer, but somebody pointed out it could just be animations tied to that object and it simply raises the fitness ...

Under the description for Strangerville they state:
"Crack the Code – Have your Sims investigate using their Military training, searching for clues to solve a mystery that lies within the secret lab."
I'm guessing what she is doing is considered military training, so there's a good chance we can use it away from the training equipment. Maybe you need it to defeat The Mother.
Here's hoping, martial arts was one of my favorite parts of The Sims 3.
