Is the non commitment trait to blame for this

I have a couple, i used the relationship cheat to help them get romantic.

The guy, has a non commitment trait..

But their relationship was good, they had a baby too.

But then one day, my sim girl went up to give the guy a kiss, and he shoved her. Then she tried again to embrace him and do other romantic things and he kept pushing her. I felt just as hurt as she did. :(

I had him move out right away, what a jerk!!

I just wonder why he did such a 1/80 (however you say it) on her?

It's a 180... as in 180 degree turn. I can't answer your question though, I have no clue!

..hah, I knew there was something wrong with what I wrote there, but I think I may have needed to get to sleep earlier than I did. *smacks forehead*

  • I got a sim married to don Lothario (I reloaded after because I wanted to see a rejection), and it was no effort at all.
He had both romantic and non-committal, both of which should have affected chances of commitment interactions, but they didn't.
  • I had a non commital sim and her husband died and she saw it but did not get a sad moodlet, does anyone know why because it might have been the non commital trait.
  • It could have been a combo of that and if they had a negative mood. Sims sometimes just have bad days and don't want to romance.
  • If sims are angry they're sometimes not in the mood for kisses, no matter who it's from. I (think) you have to build up a pleasant conversation before you can start smooching them.
Don't know if that's the case with tense, but it might be. So if he was angry, or possibly tense, that would be why.
  • Maybe, but it's more likely he was in a bad mood (could have been caused by the trait) which made him react negatively. If sims are in a bad mood they aren't as likely to accept romantic interactions even from a spouse.
