Is the Wishing Well any good at giving your Sim a match?

When wishing for love at the wishing well does not always end up with your sim getting their soul mate given to them, most of the time it is something else, such as a romantic interaction your sim can use on another sim. There also times instead of the wishing well giving your sim a living sim, it will give them a ghost. That has happened to my sims more times than I can count.
