is there a cheat code for reward points?
Or even to get the reward traits? There is one for 2000 I really want now.

aspirations.complete_current_milestone - Completes aspiration goal for satisfaction points.
So you could take aspirations you know you wont level because they don't fit your sims, do the first 2 or 3, and collect those satisfaction points. If you do all 4 you get the aspiration traits.
