Is there a cheat to bring a ghost back to life?

I was working on the book of life, but just found out that I would have to use it before my sim died, and she's already very dead. (She randomly died from laughing!) Ambrosia seems like such a hard wo...

If you want to get your sims back to life you can as long as you have not saved the game since before their death. I lost 2 vampires and i was going to try one of the ways to get them back to life but one of them was not being fully killed by the grim reaper, so i just went to the main menu of my game and went back into the family and they were back because I did not save after they died
