- Also if you don't want to go to the vet, you can download a room off the gallery that has wellness treats.
- LaBlue03147 years agoSeasoned AceIf you are not opposed to mods there are a couple out there that have made a huge difference in my game.
No Sick, Dirty, Sad and Hungry Cats & Dogs (NPCs)

There are also this one encase for some reason one does get sick.
They have this included with some others, but there is one that will be in its own folder that will allow you to buy the vet treat that cures a sick animal, from your sims computer.
Look at the section called Cats & Dogs DLC

Because sometimes you just don't feel like dealing with something all the time, that gets boring. - I don't know if this still works, but it's worth a try: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2017/11/pet-is-constantly-unconformable-scared/ --it works for all buffs/debuffs IF it is still working since the ?pre-seasons? patch.
Note: everybody is allowed to play the game in whatever way pleases them. While one style of play may be your preference, it's fine for someone else to play in an entirely different way. Expressing negative judgments about other people's playstyles does nothing but provoke fights. Provoking fights is pretty much against the TOU/etc. - > @Colorist40 said:

to "unlock" wellness treats in build mode. Happy simming! - When I get a pet I only go to the vets once and just buy loads of the wellness treats, I've found they cure everything so far, so no annoying trips to the vets again.

Thanks so much for commenting this! I keep getting sick animals on my lot and I just want to look after all of them :disappointed:- logionX7 years agoLegendI created a thread about this on Answer HQ a couple of years ago, feel free to click on "me too".

Basically the mechanic that is supposed to make pets sick over time is running when you are not playing the households. It is a bug that has not been fixed. "Familyvalues23;c-16733440" wrote:

Its not really about cheating or giving up. This has been an ongoing issue for a while and gets annoying. I keep crossing my fingers this will be fixed but so far nothing
